This mash potato sauce recipe is actually slightly different from typical continental potato sauces. In this recipe of sauce, mash potato is mixed with hanged yogurt along with some cream or mayonnaise which give its creamy texture but flavor is awesome! It is also called as Broast Sauce in Pakistani Cuisine.
Ingredients:
1 cup hanged yogurt or curd cheese
1 tbsp mayonnaise
1 medium boiled potato (mashed)
1 tbsp cream
1 tsp white pepper
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt to taste
2 green chilies (blended)
½ tsp sugar
Procedure:
Whisk together all ingredients well till become smooth sauce. Serve it with any fried stuff like crispy chicken, fries, fish, etc.
