Preparation time : 40 min + Resting time | Serves 6 persons
As it clearly stands from the name that these waffles prepared with yeast which gives slightly different flavor as compare to other waffles. You can also make interesting variations to these yeast waffles, for instance you can add some chopped nuts, vanilla and topping of cream with fruits.
Ingredients:
¼ cup warm water
1 package yeast
½ cup oil
1 egg
1 tbsp sugar
¾ tsp salt
3 cup flour
2 cup warm milk
Procedure:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let it stand for 5 min.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl and leave it for overnight in refrigerator.
3. In a greased heated waffle pan, pour the batter and if it feels too thick then add milk accordingly.
4. When the waffles become light golden and stiff then take it out from pan and serve with butter or caramel sauce.
