Preparation time : 20 min. + Setting time | Serves 12-16 squares
These rocky road Halloween squares are almost similar to cold cakes but they are prepared with peanuts and marshmallows flavor. You can also add candies and candied fruits to make it more attractive for Halloween treat.
Ingredients:
12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp butter
2 cup roasted peanuts (crushed)
10 oz mini marshmallows of any color
4-5 vanilla biscuits (crushed) (optional)
Procedure:
1. Combine chocolate, milk and butter and cook on double boiler until all the chocolate melts completely.
2. After that remove the bowl of chocolate mixture from the boiler and fold crushed peanuts, marshmallows and biscuits with the mixture.
3. Spread wax paper on a cookie sheet and spread the mixture on it. Place the sheet in fridge to chill for at least an hour and when it gets firm cut into small squares.
