Candied Honey ApplesPreparation time : 20 min | Serves 6 apples

This candied honey apples are obviously a treat for Halloween which are prepared in almost no time. You can add anything in addition with nuts or if you don’t like nuts add sugar sprinkles, coconut, etc for outer coating.

Ingredients:

1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup butter or margarine
½ cup honey
¼ cup heavy cream
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
6 small apples with sticks
1/3 cup chopped nuts

Procedure:

1. In a sauce pan combine all ingredients except apples and nuts and cook over medium-high heat. Keep stirring while cooking so that batter would not stick to the pan.
2. When all the ingredients mix well and batter starts to thick remove pan from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
3. Pick each apple from top of stick and roll it well in the caramel batter then roll it in the nuts. Place it on wax paper and let it stand for few minutes to set.
